KYLE
JOSEPH
A teacher and lifelong Calgarian, running to bring practical, honest leadership to Calgary‑Shaw with the Progressive Tory Party of Alberta.
“My mission is to bring practical, decision‑informed, honest leadership to Calgary‑Shaw by putting service before ideology, accountability before excuses, and results before political theatre. As a teacher, lifelong Calgarian, and product of Alberta’s unique story, I am running to help build a government that listens, spends responsibly, protects public trust, and works for the people it serves.”
Calgary raised him. Now he wants to represent it.
Kyle Joseph is a teacher, lifelong Calgarian, and community‑minded leader running to bring practical, honest leadership to Calgary‑Shaw. He is the son of small business owners and the grandson of a true Albertan cowboy, a product of what makes Alberta unique: hard work, opportunity, resilience, and people from different walks of life building something together.
As a teacher, baseball coach, and local resident, Kyle is tired of ideology getting in the way of good government. He is running to bring accountability, common sense, and practical leadership back to the people of Calgary‑Shaw.
He earned his Bachelor of Education, with a minor in History, from Mount Royal University, where his studies focused on how to teach history and democracy to young students, work he now carries into his own classroom every day.
Kyle holds Alberta Teacher Certification and was nominated for the Edwin Parr Award, Alberta’s honour for outstanding first‑year teachers.
